The last bottle, the last diaper, when sleep began. Share the log with your partner or caregiver so either of you can pick up where the other left off.

Entries show who logged them. Your phones sync through iCloud when connected, and logging still works when you’re offline.

One owner purchase enables shared care. Pro is required from the first caregiver invitation, or you can start the 10-day Pro trial. Invited caregivers can join and log without buying Pro. Up to 100 caregivers and multiple children with Pro; the 100 includes the owner. No extra caregiver or child fees.

Your iPad is another device on the same family log, not a second copy of it: it syncs through your own iCloud, the way your phone does. It turns whichever way you are holding it, and it will sit beside whatever else you have open.

When our daughter Elyse arrived, Madelyn and I tried several baby trackers. What kept getting in the way was the small stuff: too many steps to start a feed, too much effort when our hands were full.

I’m a software engineer, so I built BabyTeller around the routines we were living. We use it together, and keep refining the phrases, buttons and replies that make a difference in the middle of the night.

Elyse’s feeds and photos live on our own phones, in our own iCloud, and I built BabyTeller to work the same way for you. Keeping a copy of your baby’s day would mean asking you to trust a company with it, and I would rather not ask. Read about privacy.

For a quick command, ask Siri. For a changing-table-to-feeding session, open dictation and start listening. Log several things in a sentence, add details, or ask about the day without starting over for each command.

Each entry gets its own card and Undo button. When a detail needs clarification, BabyTeller can ask you to resolve it.

Dictation is processed on your iPhone. Once the language assets are installed, it can work offline. Siri follows Apple’s own settings and availability.

Start a feed, switch sides, end it, and see how the day has gone, without putting the baby down to go and find your phone. Taps you make while the phone is away are held on the watch and sent the moment it is back.

The watch keeps no second copy of your baby’s log. It shows what your iPhone sends it and sends your taps back, so there is one record and it stays yours.

The Fortune Teller

When baby is likely to nap next.
A window, never a minute.

From your own log and baby’s age, BabyTeller works out what is probably coming: the next nap, when baby will wake from this one, the next feed, the next change and bedtime. Always as a window, always with what it is based on, and all of it worked out on your phone.

It shows you how its guesses have done on your baby, as plain counts.

  • On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with the window and its basis and no countdown. It steps aside while a timer runs and comes back when it ends.
  • Ask for it out loud. Say to Siri or the dictation page “when’s the next nap”, “what’s next” or “how will tonight go”.
  • A heads-up if you want one: a single notification ten minutes before the nap window. Off unless you turn it on.
  • A page of its own, with sleeps, feeds and changes over the last five hours and the likely windows drawn in ahead.

It is honest about what it knows. Always a window, never a single minute. It always says what it is based on. It works from baby’s own rhythm, not a chart’s limit, and it never tells you baby is late or overdue.

It never changes your log, nothing it works out leaves your phone, and one switch turns the whole thing off.

Calibrated against published infant sleep and feeding research (Galland 2012, Sadeh 2009, Paavonen 2020, Kent 2006, Mindell 2016), and tested on simulated babies before any real one. Babies vary, and it is not medical advice.

BabyTeller Pro is $9.99 once at launch. A one-time lifetime unlock for caregiver invitations, multiple children, dictation, Fortune Teller predictions on every surface, interactive widgets, Lock Screen and Control Center controls, and the Apple Watch app. Up to 100 caregivers per shared log, including its owner.

One purchase for shared care. The owner buys Pro; invited caregivers can join and log for the household’s children without a separate purchase. Joining a log does not grant a personal Pro purchase. App Store Family Sharing is available for eligible purchases.

10 days free, with nothing to cancel. Start the trial by choosing Try Pro. There is no automatic charge or renewal. When it ends, your records remain, ongoing timers can be finished, and free logging and basic exports continue. New invitations require Pro. The lifetime unlock includes future Pro software additions; any future physical products are separate purchases.
